Baku High Oil School and British Heriot-Watt University have signed a contract that reflects the mechanism of organization of teaching English, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said on Friday.
The contract was signed during the visit of the High Oil School Rector Elmar Gasimov to the UK.
Earlier, Baku High Oil School and British Heriot-Watt University have signed an agreement on basic principles for the organization of training.
Under the agreement, during the learning process from 2012 to 2017 graduates of High Oil School will be able to receive diplomas from both schools.
SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said earlier a new higher education institution is founded to provide the company with local English-speaking experts in the field of technical engineering.
