The number of gas subscribers amounted to 1.429.257 million in September 1 compared to 1.423.758 million in August 1, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said.
According to the report, some 1.411.724 million subscribers account for population group, 17,533 - for other subscribers.
Some 645,264 subscribers of the total number of gas customers account for Baku (635,884 of the population) and 783,993 subscribers (775,840 of the population) - for the rest of the country.
Production association Azerigaz of SOCAR is engaged in transportation and distribution of gas in Azerbaijan.
