Some 1 239 862 meters were drilled in Kazakhstan in January-July, 2012 compared to 1 118 290 meters during the same month of 2011, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
The total volume of drilling operations was fulfilled by 91 percent in July, 2012. Some 196 299 meters were drilled in Kazakhstan in July. It was planned to drill 215 454 meters.
The volume of exploratory drilling was fulfilled by 64.5 percent in July, 2012. Some 24 975meters were drilled. It was planned to drill 38 617 meters.
