Azerenerji (production and distribution of electric power in Azerbaijan) has produced around 16 billion kW/hour electric power in January-September against 14.5 billion kW/hour during the same period of last year, the report of Azerenerji, published on Monday says.
Over 14.4 billion kW/hour from the total amount of electric power produced within 9 months falls to the share of thermal power stations, 1.6 billion kW/hour - to the share of hydropower stations.
Around 1.5 billion kW/hour electric energy was produced in September.
Electric energy supply to Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia has been continued in September.
