Iran denies its oil sales 40 percent down

The Iran Ministry of Oil has denied the news of 40 per cent reduction in oil sale and 45 per cent in oil and gas earnings and said "any indirect statistics and quotations of the Oil Ministry and directors are illegitimate", MNA reported.

Alireza Nikzad Rahbar, Oil Ministry Spokesman, providing comments on the remarks by the Head of the Commission for Plan and Budget of Islamic Republic of Iran Parliament about the 40 per cent reduction in oil sale and 45 per cent oil and gas earning reduction as quoted by the Oil Minister, said that "any indirect statistics and quotations of the oil industry directors is invalid."

"Islamic Republic of Iran Oil Ministry has passed over the hard initial days of sanction, thanks to the industrious staff and the special attention given to the oil industry in the country," he asserted.

Oil Ministry Spokesman said that directors and workers at in oil industry work day and night and employ special ploys to ward off the sanctions and they will leave the enemy disappointed, indicating that the sanctioning agents possess nothing by which to pressure the Iranian oil industry.
