Companies upgrading Atyrau oil refinery in Kazakhstan agree to divide workload

Participants of the international consortium implementing the project of modernization of Atyrau oil refinery in Kazakhstan discussed and agreed upon dividing the workload, JSC Atyrau Refinery told Trend.

"Members of the international consortium carrying out the modernization of Atyrau Refinery, discussed and agreed among themselves on the division of work, the coordination of their activities and plans for the development of capital investments related to the project," JSC Atyrau Refinery said.

These agreements, according to the JSC, were achieved within the start meeting between the heads of JSC NC "KazMunaiGas", JSC KazMunaiGas - Processing and Marketing, Chinese "Sinopec Engineering (Group)", Japanese Marubeni Corporation, and JSC OGCC KazStroyService and "Atyrau Oil Refinery".

All of these companies within the consortium are implementing a strategic investment project "Construction of a complex of deep oil refining at the Atyrau Oil Refinery".
