Kazakh Atyrau Refinery decreased oil processing to 1.499 million tons in January-April 2013 compared to 1.505 million tons in the same period of 2012

Kazakh Atyrau Refinery decreased oil processing to 1.499 million tons in January-April 2013 compared to 1.505 million tons in the same period of 2012, the refinery's press-service reported.

Motor gasoline production in the reporting period hit 143,700 tons (compared to 175,800 tons in the same period of 2012), diesel fuel - 376,900 tons (378,200 tons in the same period of 2012), jet fuel TS-1 - 18,600 tons (20,000 tons in 2012), heating oil - 42,500 tons (67,900 tons in 2012), fuel oil - 545,600 tons (532,800 tons in 2012), coke - 24,300 tons (26,400 tons in 2012), vacuum gas oil - 223,100 tons (209,700 tons in 2012), liquefied gas - 5,8 tones.

The share of high-octane gasoline hit 23.9 percent in the first four months of 2013 (30.1 percent in the first four months of 2012), the share of eco-friendly diesel fuel hit 82 percent (67.6 percent in the first four months of 2012).

In April 2013, the Atyrau Refinery processed 383,500 tones of crude oil (382,000 tons in April 2012) and produced 33,700 tons of motor gasoline, 117,900 tons of diesel fuel, 4,700 tons of TS-1 jet fuel, 2,900 tons of heating oil, 155,300 tons of fuel oil, 58,700 tons of vacuum gas oil, 5,300 tons of coke, 800 tons of liquefied gas.

The share of high-octane gasoline hit 30.9 percent in April 2013, the share of environmentally friendly diesel fuel amounted to 82.4 percent.

The Aryrau refinery is one of three refineries operating in Kazakhstan.
