Turkish Petroleum Corporation TPAO announced a tender to increase the volume of the Kuzey Marmara gas reservoir, located on the northern coast of the Sea of Marmara, Turkish Official Gazette (Resmi Gazete) said today.
According to the report the tender is open to companies having experience in this field. Operations on increasing the volume of the gas reservoir will be conducted in two phases. The first includes the preparation of a feasibility study by a contractor, and the second the physical work.
The first stage of the work must be completed in nine months after the signing of an agreement between TPAO and a contracting company.
The physical work within the project must begin in 2014 and be completed no later than 2019. A package of tender documents may be acquired for $100.
Companies wishing to participate in the tender can submit a package of proposals to the TPAO main office until July 10, 2013.
