Astana, Kazakhstan, Dec.4
Daniyar Mukhtarov - Trend:
Gasoline prices will remain the same in Kazakhstan in December, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of Kazakhstan Asylbek Duisebayev told journalists on Dec.4.
"Until the New Year there will be no increase in tariffs for electricity, heat and gas supply, as well as prices for fuel and lubricants in the country," the deputy minister said.
The price of train tickets and air tickets for domestic flights will not change, according to the prime minister.
Earlier, Kazakh Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin said that the cost of petroleum products in the country will not rise until the end of the first quarter of 2014.
To avoid sharp price hikes for fuel and lubricants, since late 2009 Kazakhstan has regulated retail prices of gasoline brands AI-80, AI-92 and diesel fuel.
