Baku’s energy operator announces volume of work for past seven years

Bakielektrikshebeke JSC which distributes and sells electricity in Baku, installed 301,320 electric meters between 2007 and 2013, according to a message posted on the energy operator's website.

JSC set up 21,000 meters in 2013 compared to 41,400 in 2012, the energy operator said.

Additionally, the JSC constructed over 6900 kilometres of main power transmission lines between 2007 and 2013. This figure amounted to 753.8 kilometres in 2013 compared to 1160 kilometres in 2012.
