Kazakhstan slightly decreases oil production

In January-February 2014, Kazakhstan produced 11.165 million tons of oil, which is 1.4 percent less than in the same period of 2013, according to a message posted on March 17 on the website of Kazakh Statistics Agency.

The gas condensate production volume throughout the reporting period stood at 2.081 million tons (with a decrease of 2.9 percent), natural gas - 7.048 billion cubic meters (with a decrease of 0.8 percent), coal - 18.928 million tons (with a decrease of 8.6 percent).

It was previously reported that Kazakhstan in 2013 produced 81.731 million tons of oil, including gas condensate, which is 3.2 percent more than in 2012.
