The gas daily delivered to Azerbaijan's population and other consumers in the country stood at 9.2 million cubic meters as of April 22, 2014 versus 19.1 million cubic meters as of March 27.
The daily gas consumption in Baku was 5.6 million cubic meters as of April 22 (amid the improvement of weather conditions in the country), Azerigaz Production Association of Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) told Trend.
Azerigaz deals with the distribution and sale of natural gas to consumers in Azerbaijan.
"The daily gas consumption in Azerbaijan's regions currently stands at 3.6 million cubic meters," Azerigaz said.
The number of subscribers of Azerbaijani gas operator totalled 1.685 million as of April 1, 2014, some 713,456 of them being in the capital Baku, and the rest in other regions of Azerbaijan.
