Kazakh National Oil and Gas Company KazMunaiGas increased net profit by 18 percent to 488.6 billion tenge (183.51 tenge =$1) in 2013

Kazakh National Oil and Gas Company KazMunaiGas increased net profit by 18 percent to 488.6 billion tenge (183.51 tenge =$1) in 2013, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported on June 5 referring to the company's consolidated audited financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards.

The company's revenue in the reporting period rose by 9.9 percent to 3.253 trillion tenge, gross profit grew by 3.3 percent to 898.6 billion tenge.

KazMunaiGas' assets increased by 10.6 percent to 7.558 trillion tenge, equity increased by 12.3 to 4.036 trillion tenge.

KazMunaiGas is the Kazakh national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state interests in Kazakhstan's gas and oil industry. KazMunaiGas is wholly owned by the state through Samruk-Kazyna National Wealth Fund.
