National postal operator Azerpoct LTD plans to put into operation new postal offices in Quba, Gusar and Imishli, Azerpoct said.
Postal offices have been built in a new corporative style. They are well-equipped. They will be able to provide clients with necessary information.
Postal offices will offer clients services of fast money transfer, as well as traditional postal services. There is long-distance network in postal offices for population. These postal offices have also an opportunity to connect to Internet.
At present, Azerpoct has more than 1,600 postal offices.
A professional holiday of postal employees has been celebrated on December 6 since 2006. This holiday is celebrated in accordance with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree dated December 2, 2006 on occasion of 125-year-anniversary of telephone communication in Azerbaijan.
