The representatives of public and private agencies in Azerbaijan will attend a seminar on information resources for science, technology and innovation business, which will be held on November 24-25 in Moscow, deputy director of the Center for Scientific Innovation of Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Arzu Huseynov told Trend .
According to Huseynova, the seminar will demonstrate the software, designed for digital libraries. Participants will be given free access to archives of digital libraries.
Today several projects have been carried out in Azerbaijan in order to form Azerbaijani national electronic library. Important state information resources include: library resources, fund of republic archive, research, scientific and technical information, as well as the resources of education, the state fund of statistics and information resources of government.
Scientific research institutes of the Academy of Sciences prepared electronic collections for readers of different categories. For readers the creation of digital libraries provides the ability to quickly obtain information regardless of time and location of the library and the reader.
