An Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry delegation will hold a series of meetings in the framework of the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2010 Exhibition. The conference exhibits mobile technologies, which started today in Barcelona, the ministry said.
The Azerbaijani delegation is headed by ministry Regulatory Department head Aliyar Tamirov. The delegation will consider the possibility of introducing the advanced innovative technologies presented at the exhibition in Azerbaijan.
The conference will conclude its work Feb. 18.
The largest exhibition of GSMA Mobile World Congress, organized by the World GSM Association within Congress for several years, is the most significant event in the world of mobile communication. Leading representatives of the industry - mobile operators, manufacturers of mobile devices and multiservice providers gather here.
Traditionally, representatives of top management companies, holding leading positions in the wireless market, will hold a series of meetings and workshops these days. They will discuss urgent themes of mobile communications, as well as prospects and future technologies. The best achievements in the field of wireless technologies will be awarded with prizes Global Mobile Awards.
