A lot of low-quality residential buildings have been built in Baku, director of the construction evaluation center of the state agency for construction safety under the Emergency Situations Ministry, Kamil Muradov said on Oct. 23.

"The buildings that have passed through the Ministry's acceptance committee does not have any problem with the quality," Muradov said.

According to Muradov, the commission does not approve the construction of low-quality buildings in no case due to the fact that accidents of various degrees are inevitable
when communal utilities of these buildings are commissioned.

In this regard, the residential building receives gas if it meets fire, seismological and other standards, Muradov added.

"The ministry's acceptance commission will not approve the buildings that do not meet the necessary standards. Specialists of the state commission are actively involved in every stage of construction to avoid accidents," Muradov said.
