Two more cases of infection with "swine flu" (A/H1N1) were revealed in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan said.
"One of the patients is a relative of [the patient with "swine flu "] women who arrived in Azerbaijan from Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine on Oct. 26, who was in contact with the patient," said the ministry.
As noted in the report posted on the official site of the Ministry of Health, the second patient is a citizen of Azerbaijan, who also arrived from Ukraine in November.
According to information provided by the Health Ministry, currently patients are in the Research Institute of Lung Diseases, under outpatient treatment.
On Nov. 4, A/H1N1/ virus was detected from a citizen of Azerbaijan, who temporarily resides in Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine and on 26 October returned to Kurdamir region of Azerbaijan. The patient arrived in Azerbaijan from Ukraine by rail on October 26. The patient infected with the virus is currently under special treatment with medical supervision.
