![]() Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 11 /Trend Capital, E.Ismayilov/ A Ganja motor plant in Azerbaijan has started to assemble 25-ton cranes on the basis of the Belarusian MAZ, Director Khanlar Fatiyev said today. "We have already received six sets of cranes to be assembled at our plant," he said. Fatiyev said earlier that the plant will assemble 650 tractors by late 2009 as part of a contract with a Minsk tractor plant. The Ganja plant assembles tractors for the domestic market. The plant can produce 5,000 tractors annually. The contract to assemble and sell lorries and tractors in Azerbaijan was signed in late 2006. Ganja is 265 kilometers south of Baku.
