Baku extends restrictions on takeoff and landing of aircrafts

Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport restricted takeoff and landing of aircrafts from 13:00 to 15:00 local time due to bad weather conditions, Azal reported.

The company said that the ban will most likely be extended. However, a Pulkovo Airlines plane flying on the St. Petersburg-Baku-St Petersburg route recently landed at the airport.

At the moment, a Lufthansa plane on the route Baku-Frankfurt is ready to fly but permission to depart has not been granted, AZAL reported.

British and Turkish Airlines also are preparing to fly, the company said.
