Kazakhstan , Astana, Sept.7 / Trend, A. Maratov /

The National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" Board Chairman Timur Kulibayev is not going to deal with politics in the near future.

"I am doing business. I have never dealt with politics. I am not a member of any political party. Dealing with politics is professional work. I feel comfortable in business and want to make my achievements in business, so I do not have any ideas on how to deal with politics in the near future," Kulibayev told journalists on Wednesday.

He said Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev was legitimately elected as president and that the issue has been decided for the coming years.

Earlier an interview was published with Kazakh Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Yermukhamet Ertysbayev , in which he said that if the president suddenly resigns from the post, Nazarbayev's son-in-law may be the next president and successor of the current president's policy.
At the same time Ertysbayev said that he considers talks on a successor only "hypothetical" and hopes that the current head of state will serve until December 2016. According to the adviser, the president "is full of energy and has big plans for the country's industrial-innovative development."

Kulibayev graduated from the Republican Physics and Mathematics School and graduated from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University with a specialty in "national economy planning." He is a candidate of sciences, served in various public company posts, and is actively engaged in business.

Kulibayev joined the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Kazakh President in May 2010. In April 2011 Kulibayev was appointed as the Board Chairman of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna."

Kulibayev is married to Nazarbayev's daughter Dinara Nazarbayeva, with whom he has three children.
