Kazakhstan will soon make retrenchment of civil servants, which will affect to the so-called "A" corps, which is the political class of the republic, Kazakh newspaper "Liter" reported according to the deputy head of presidential administration Bauyrzhan Baibek.
"This reform is very important. Number of political employees will be reduced by 6.5 per cent, from 3,277 to 538 people. They will be people, political appointees, which will be very little," - the deputy head of Kazakh presidential administration Bauyrzhan Baibek said.
According to him, here will be created as so-called "golden fund" - "A" corps (including 500 people). This category will be able to ensure that the economic reforms, social modernization, and in the end they will bear the responsibility for the inclusion of Kazakhstan in the 50 successful countries.
This is not the first action, two years ago, President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree to reduce of 15 percent of state government agencies, in result 26 thousand people lost their positions. This year has been a moratorium on the increase of civil servants in the country.
"Corps "A" are managers, the elite of the elites, whose will be rigidly selected" - said Bauyrzhan Baibek.
He also added that no one can just simply take place in "A" corps.
According to him, it would create a national commission under the President. Head of the AP, his deputy, vice-ministers, deputy speakers of the Senate and the Majilis will be members of this commission.
"The National Commission will select people into the reserve and only the people from this reserve will be appointed to the position of the "A" corps, Baibek explained.
"If a man falls out of the "A" corps, at the second time he will never be there," Bauyrzhan Baibek assured.
