An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Eastern Kazakhstan region on Friday, European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said.
The earthquake occurred at 12:32 Astana time.
The epicenter was 60 kilometers to the north-west from the village of Urdzhar.
There is no information about victims or damages.
