The Russian invitation to President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the G20 summit is an indication of the sincerity of the bilateral partnership between the two neighbors, executive director of the Centre for Political Science 'North-South', director of the Centre for the Study of Socio-Political Processes in the Post-Soviet Space of the Moscow State University and member of Trend Expert Council Alexei Vlasov said.

"This invitation is yet another confirmation of depth and sincerity of the bilateral partnership between the two countries," Vlasov told Trend.

Vlasov said Kazakhstan and its leader are perceived by the world community as significant players in global processes.

"From this point of view, an invitation to the G20 summit is quite logical and appropriate," the expert said.

At the same time, he said, there is another side to this issue. Against the background of speculations in the media, regarding disagreements between the Kremlin and Ak Orda both sides once again demonstrate equal and maximally close nature of the relationship.

On February 22, the Kazakh Ambassador to Russia Galym Orazbakov received official invitation for president Nazarbayev to participate in the G20 from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The diplomats were informed of the main priorities of the Russian presidency in the "Group of Twenty" during the conversation with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Russia expressed its hope that the participation of invited countries in preparation of the summit and its work will enrich results of this important international forum and help strengthen the friendly bilateral relations.
