Finnish President Sauli Niinisto and his spouse will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on April16 -18, Kazinform reported with the reference to the Finnish Embassy to Astana.

Within the visit Niinisto will discuss the bilateral relations between Finland and Kazakhstan, regional and international issues, as well as relations between the EU and Kazakhstan with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Finish Economic Affairs Minister Jan Vapaavuori and heads of such companies as Outotec, Patria, Vaisala, ABB, Tikkurila, Honkarakenne, Metso, Planmeca and Lappset will also take part in the visit. On April, 17 Finnish business representatives will take part in the Kazakh-Finnish summit on the green economy and modernization.

Minister Vapaavuori will also participate in the mining forum "Minex Central Asia".
Moreover, the Finish delegation includes former president of the Finland's Supreme Administrative Court Pekka Halberg, who participated in a project supporting the development of the rule of law in the Central Asia.
