United Kingdom will facilitate issuance of business visas for Kazakh businessmen, UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy Charles Hendry told at the 17th meeting of Kazakh-British trade and industry council.
"Currently we hold a special visa program on a pilot basis, under which only two or three days will be required for the issuance of business visas for citizens of Kazakhstan," Hendry said.
According to him, the program was announced during the visit of UK Prime Minister in Kazakhstan. Since then, 16 companies have applied for a visa under this program, 10 of them have already received visas.
"The reviews have been quite positive. We intend to further continue this program, the timing is not limited. As far as I know, about 150 visas have already been issued under this program. Another good news is that since October, direct flights between Astana and London will be launched, which will be operated by Air Astana. We see that in many areas we progress," UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy told.
