Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev within his visit to Astana will meet with his Kazakh counterpart Serik Akhmetov and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan Today reported with the reference to the spokesman for Central Communications Service for Kazakh President Altai Abibullayev.
"Within the meetings the parties will discuss a wide range of issues of Kazakh-Russian cooperation, in particular, cooperation in the sphere of space activity and Baikonur complex," Abibullayev said at a briefing on Monday.
Moreover, the parties will discuss cross-border rivers and preparation for the 10th anniversary forum of interregional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, to be held in Yekaterinburg.
Medvedev will arrive in Astana to participate in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on Sep. 25.
