The first national training courses for those who want to learn the rules and laws of "green politics" opened in Astana, the chairperson of the Board of Coalition "For the "green" economy and G-Global development" Saltanat Rahimbekova said to journalists.
"It is important for us to involve the population of Kazakhstan in the movement of transition to a "green economy", it is important to expand their knowledge of "green economy.To introduce a new way of thinking - this is our main motto ," - Rahimbekova said.
According to her, a virtual training course on the "green" economy will be presented at the seminar, which best explains the policy of "green growth", that is necessary for the transition to this model.
"Upon completion of the course, which consists of six stages, special certificates will be given to the participants.This will give the reason to implement this knowledge in their work", - the Rahimbekova added.
The first guest lecturer of the course was the Director of Environment and Sustainable Development Division of Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics Rae Kwon Chung .
He is also one of the main developers of the concept of "Green Growth" at the Asia -Pacific level and globally. He arrived in Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Ministry of Environment to participate in the development of the partnership program "Green Bridge"
The program is designed to facilitate the transfer of eco-friendly technologies and environmental management experience from dnurseveloped countries to developing industrial states.
The first seminar was attended by civil servants , representatives of private companies , corporations , foundations , NGOs , academics , and students.
Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that the first step in the transition to a "green economy" would be the reorganization of consciousness and the formation of the new thinking that is focused on respect for the environment and the rational use of energy.
