Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has been invited to visit Kazakhstan, Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrisov said after talks with Singaporean counterpart Grace Fu, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.

"Today we confirmed an official invitation to the Prime Minister of Singapore to visit Kazakhstan at any convenient time. We have many issues to discuss," Idrisov said.

According to Idrisov, Kazakhstan and Singapore are cooperating in the modernisation of the civil service, business and education development, urban planning, transport logistics and infrastructure and e-government development.
Singaporean Second Foreign Minister Grace Fu in turn, noted an increase in passenger traffic between the two countries, as well as educational tourism growth which will help ensure an exchange of views and ideas between the countries.

During the talks, the foreign ministers signed a memorandum on political consultations between the ministries.
