MP and daughter of Kazakh president, Dariga Nazarbayeva will head the parliamentary faction of the ruling Nur Otan party, member of the country's Majlis (lower house of the parliament), Mukhtar Tinikeyev wrote on his Twitter page.
"Dariga Nazarbayeva has been elected the head of Nur Otan party's parliamentary faction," Tinikeyev wrote.
In his previous message on Twitter, Tinikeyev wrote that during the meeting of Nur Otan party's faction, Dariga Nazarbayeva's candidacy was proposed to the post of vice-speaker of the lower house of Kazakhstan's parliament.
