Astana will host a business forum titled Kazakhstan-Bahrain Strategic Partnership on April 14 as part of the Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to Kazakhstan, according to Kazakh Commerce and Industry Chamber.
The business forum will be attended by over 40 Bahraini large companies operating in the sectors of banking, food products including halal products (the products that are permissible to consume according to Islamic law), oil and gas industry, petrochemicals, metallurgy and production of aluminium, heavy machinery, transport and tourism.
"The business forum envisages holding bilateral business meetings of Kazakh entrepreneurs with members of business delegation from Bahrain in the B2B format," according to a message from the Commerce and Industry Chamber.
The business forum's goal is to promote economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Bahrain.
The forum's format will allow presentation of investment opportunities in both countries, implementation of joint projects, discussion of the problems of their implementation and other relevant issues.
