The Hungarian airlines have expressed their intention to carry out a regular Budapest -Astana flight, Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry reported.
During the meeting of the Hungarian-Kazakh intergovernmental commission held in Budapest June 5, the parties have encouraged the opening of direct air flights between the two capitals. The Aviation authorities of the two countries will hold talks at the experts level on the issue in the near future, the ministry said.
"We welcome the proposal on the opening of the flight. We plan to hold a meeting with our Hungarian partners in a short time, in which we will discuss the issues of improving existing intergovernmental agreement on air services between the two countries," the Deputy Chairman of Kazakhstan's Civil Aviation Committee, Talgat Lastayev said.
