A ground control complex for Earth remote sensing apparatus will be opened in Astana in July.

Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Talgat Musabayev made the remarks at the government hour in the Kazakh Majilis (lower chamber of parliament).

"Astana completed construction of National Space Centre, where the ground segment of space remote sensing system by which controlled satellites ERS and receives and processes information from those satellites. Commissioning ground control remote sensing spacecraft is scheduled for July of this year, i.e. next month "- said Talgat Musabayev.

Some 45 Kazakh engineers who will design satellites, manage, and provide receipt and processing of satellite images completed the full course in France and the UK within the contract on the creation of space remote sensing system.

April 30 this year, the first Kazakh satellite remote sensing (RS)-1 KazEOSat was put into orbit from a launch site in France. The second satellite KazEOSat-2 was launched on June 20 in Russia. Start was successful, the satellite launched into the desired orbit. Companions created under contract subordinate organizations of the country and the French company Airbus defense and space.

On April 30, the first Kazakhstan Earth remote sensing high spatial resolution satellite "KazEOSat-1" has been successfully launched from Kourou Space Center in France. The second "KazEOSat-2" satellite was launched on June 10 in Russia. The launched was held successfully, the satellite launched into the targeted orbit. The satellites were created with the frame of the jurisdictional organizations of the country and the French Airbus defense and space company.

"Today, first high-resolution images have been obtained," Musabayev said.
