Ruslan Beketayev has been appointed new deputy finance minister of Kazakhstan in accordance with the government resolution No 830 dated July 26, Kazakh Finance Ministry said.

Ruslan Beketayev previously served as the chairman of the Treasury Committee of the Finance Ministry.

Beketayev became the leading expert of department of licensing and supervision of the National Commission on Securities in 1996. In different years he was the head of the inspection administration of National Bank's financial supervision department, he served in financial police bodies. He worked as the adviser of the chairman of the board of Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal University JSC.
