Kazakh "Suburban transportation" JSC, "Militarized Railway Guard" JSC and linear Police Department of Internal Affairs on transport are enhancing the safety of rail passengers, according to the National Railway Company "Kazakhstan Temir Joly" (Kazakh railways).
"There have been recent cases of violation of the rule of law on suburban train routes. In accordance with the order of the Kazakh Minister of Internal Affairs, accompaniment of routes by police squads in transport is being carried out for provision of the rule of law in suburban trains and protection of property. However, the assigned contingent of the Department of Internal Affairs on transport does not provide 100 percent accompaniment of all suburban trains, " the report said.
It is also noted that, at the request of head of the National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Joly" JSC Askar Mamin, a joint meeting was held "Suburban Transportation" JSC with the leadership of the Department of Internal Affairs on transport and "Militarized Railway Guard" JSC, and a decision was made to combine forces and resources for joint safety of passengers in transportation.
The instructive training was held for the employees of linear Internal Affairs Department on transport, "Militarized Railway Guard" JSC and staff of train team of the "Suburban transportation" JSC on cooperation, combating and preventing violations of law on suburban trains route.
