Five committees joined the Kazakh National Economy Ministry as a result of the reform of the public administration system, the ministry said Aug. 25.
The Committee for Construction, Housing and Communal Services and the Committee for Land Resources Management under the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy was headed by Kosman Aytmuhametov. Earlier, he was Deputy Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Statistics Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy was headed by Alikhan Smailov. Earlier, he served as Chairman of the Statistics Agency.
The Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition under the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy was headed by Serik Zhumangarin. Earlier, he served as Deputy Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Committee on Consumer Protection under the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy was headed by Aliakpar Matishev. Earlier, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Competition Protection.
The Committee for State Material Reserves under the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy was headed by Askar Sadu. Earlier, he served as Chairman of the Committee for State Material Reserves under the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.
