An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale was recorded on Kazakh-Uzbek border on Sept. 23, Kazakhstan National Data Center reported.
The earthquake occurred at 04:13 a.m. local time (Sept. 22, 10:13 p.m. Greenwich time), 239 kilometers of the Baikonur space center and 277 kilometers of the city of Kyzylorda.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 27 kilometers.
There is no information about victims or damage.
