Kazakh border guards detained about 170 offenders of the rules of residence in the country over the last 24 hours, saccording to the report of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Nov.18.
The report said that in particular, the border guard detained six citizens of China for violation of the state border in the area of the Kazakh Khorgos border checkpoint.
The rest of the perpetrators of the total number of detainees are citizens of Uzbekistan. They were detained in southern Kazakhstan by the details of the units of Saryagash border detachment.
"Many of the detainees attempted to cross the state border beyond the checkpoint because they had no identity cards," said the report. "The cause of violations was the return to their homes."
The report said that violators of the rules of residence in Kazakhstan will be brought to the appropriate administrative body.
