During a meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan's economic development and trade minister, Yerbolat Dossayev and the deputy chairman of the council of ministers, the economy minister of Poland, Janusz Piechocinski discussed the issues of trade and economic relations.

Poland is a promising economic partner of Kazakhstan in Eastern Europe, Dossayev said at the meeting.

"Kazakhstan sees Poland as a window to the EU market," he added.

Dossayev said the trade turnover between the two countries stood at $777.7 million in Jan.-Sept. 2014.

"Kazakhstan's government adopted a new package of incentives to attract foreign direct investments," Dossayev said.
