‘The Business Year’ to dedicate next edition of its annual review to Kazakhstan

Trend: International research and publishing company The Business Year (TBY) has returned to Kazakhstan to produce the 4th edition of its annual business review, 'The Business Year: Kazakhstan 2015'. After the success and recognition garnered by its previous publications, TBY is excited to once again cover Kazakhstan's continuous growth and diversifying economy. With several projects including EXPO 2017, the Winter Universiade 2017, the revival of the Silk Road, and the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan railway which is well underway, Kazakhstan is poised to enhance its presence throughout the global economic arena.

In the forthcoming 2015 edition, TBY will pay special attention to the alignment of local and international businesses with President Nazarbayev's 'Vision 2050,' explore transformations within the financial sector, diversification of the economy as it transitions towards value-added industries, and non-resource-based industries. TBY will conduct over 150 interviews with the leading representatives of both local and international businesses, governmental officials, and independent experts. Among the key interviewees for the 2015 edition are notables such as: Yerlan Aitaliyev, Chairman of the Board at Investment Fund of Kazakhstan, Doris Bradbury of the American Chamber of Commerce, Raimbek Batalov of Raimbek Group, Christopher Hopkinson, first deputy advisor at KazMunayGas, Andrey Kurillin, CEO of Citibank Kazakhstan, Erlan Ospanov, managing partner & CEO of Verny Capital, Kantar Orynbayev, Chairman at Nurbank, Nurzhan Janabekov, CEO of KazInvestBank, Ilya Urazakov, Director at Unvesiade Almaty 2017, Shigeo Katsu, President of Nazarbayev University, and many other important figures. In addition, TBY is proud to confirm contributions from Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, David Cameron, Prime-Minister of the United Kingdom, and Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain.

This year TBY has once again signed a research partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) to enhance the visibility of the project and increase its outreach to a wider audience. Following the success of the double language version of the previous edition, TBY will again release the Kazakhstan 2015 edition in Russian and English in the second half of 2015.
