Ermek Kosherbaev was appointed Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the ministry said Dec. 23.

Previously, he worked as the first deputy mayor of the East Kazakhstan region.

Kosherbaev was born in Almaty on May 2, 1965. In 1998 he graduated from the Kirov Kazakh State University, but in 1993 - the Diplomatic Academy of the USSR foreign ministry.

In different years, he worked in the foreign ministry of the Kazakh SSR, the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the government, the foreign ministry, Nur Otan party, JSC National Company KazMunaiGas. He also headed the national company 'Social Entrepreneurship Corporation' Ertis.
