Kazakh airport’s revenues down by 2 times in 2015

The total revenues of Almaty International Airport, which is the largest airport in Kazakhstan, was 3.68 billion tenges ($1=380.3 tenges as of Jan. 27) in 2015, compared to 6.92 billion tenges in 2014.

The total revenues of Almaty International Airport, which is the largest airport in Kazakhstan, was 3.68 billion tenges ($1=380.3 tenges as of Jan. 27) in 2015, compared to 6.92 billion tenges in 2014, according to a report posted on the website of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The revenues coming directly from activities amounted to 2.48 billion tenges in 2015 compared to 6.32 billion tenges in 2014.

The airport's earnings stood at 39.19 billion tenges in 2015, compared to 42.31 billion tenges in 2014.

The airport's assets increased by 56.44 billion tenges at the end of 2015, compared to 53.23 billion tenges at the end of 2014.

Almaty airport ranks the first in Kazakhstan in terms of domestic and international passenger and cargo transportation.
