Kazakh exporters concluded a long-term contract to provide Iran with beef and mutton worth $30 million, the Kazakh Chamber of Commerce said Feb. 8.

The contract was concluded within the framework of the Kazakh delegation's visit to Tehran.

It is the first contract between the two countries after the lifting of sanctions on Iran.

Kazakhstan's meat export was 16,130 tons in 2015, according to the Statistics Committee of the Kazakh National Economy Ministry.

At the same time, beef export was 6,500 tons, while the mutton export was 5,310 tons.
