The entire international community, not just eight or 20 countries, should participate in settling the global development problems, said Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
He made these remarks at a meeting with American public and political figures at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC, the Kazakh president's press service said Apr. 1.
Deep defects in the world economy are causing the global crisis, according to Nazarbayev.
He also recalled that four years ago, Kazakhstan put forward the 'G-Global' initiative aimed at combining the efforts of all countries in counteracting the crisis.
