Profit of KazTransOil down in 2016

Kazakh state-owned oil transporting company KazTransOil got 46.84 billion tenges (316.3 tenge = $1) of non-consolidated net profit in 2016, according to the consolidated financial report of the company in line with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) posted on its website.

It is 41.2 percent less than non-consolidated net profit in 2015.

The company’ non-consolidated revenue decreased by 0.9 percent to 191.87 billion tenges in 2016.

Consolidated net profit of KazTransOil group of companies hit 44.53 billion tenges in 2016, which is 0.4 percent lower than in 2015.

Consolidated revenue decreased by 2.8 percent to 207.11 billion tenges in 2016.

The consolidated assets of KazTransOil group of companies increased from 619.26 billion tenges as of the end of 2015 to 744.98 billion tenges as of the end of 2016.

The company’s capital increased from 472.93 billion tenges to 587.98 billion tenges in the reporting period.

Liabilities increased from 146.33 billion tenges to 157 billion tenges in 2016.

KazTransOil is Kazakhstan’s national operator of the main oil pipelines. The company operates a network of 5,400 kilometers long main oil pipelines and 2,000 kilometers long water pipelines. In 2016 KazTransOil group of companies transshipped almost 56.58 million tons of oil.
