The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan intends to buy the currency of the Scandinavian countries as replenishment of the gold reserves, KyrTAG reports on Monday with reference to the head of the Monetary Operations Department of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, Raushan Seytkasymova.
According to the statement, the National Bank is improving the structure of international reserves and is going to continue the purchase of gold in the domestic market this year and to consider currency of the Scandinavian countries including Sweden and Norway as a possible investment instruments.
As Seytksymova mentioned, in 2012 National Bank included the chinese yuans and the Singapore dollars in the fund of currencies of gold reserves .
