Kyrgyz and Russian Tax Services discussed forthcoming Kyrgyzstan's joining the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, Kyrgyz State Tax Service reported on Sept. 4.
The issue was discussed within the visit of Kyrgyz State Tax Service's delegation headed by its deputy head Oktyabr Abdykaimov to the Russian Federal Tax Service.
The parties discussed certain aspects of tax cooperation in the light of Kyrgyzstan forthcoming entry into the Customs Union. They also held consultation on the management of VAT and excise duties on import and export, and the mechanism for its control.
Russian Federal Tax Service has provided information and consulted Kyrgyz counterparts on the implementation of activities envisaged by the road map for Kyrgyzstan's joining the Customs Union and tax rules of the Customs Union.
During the visit to Moscow, the delegation of Kyrgyz State Tax Service also visited the interregional inspection for centralized data processing under Russian Federal Tax Service.
Moreover they took part in a meeting of experts of the Advisory Committee for Tax Policy and Administration under the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, where some aspects of the interaction between tax services within the Customs Union were discussed.
