Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev met and discussed various cooperation issues with his counterparts from the United Arab Emirates, South Korea and San Marino, Kabar news agency reported on Sept. 29.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

During the meeting with United Arab Emirates' Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash, the parties expressed readiness to further enhance the Kyrgyz-Emirates cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as close cooperation in the framework of international and regional organizations.

The sides also stressed the importance of the visits at the highest level for giving a new impetus to the bilateral relations.

Within the meeting with South Korean Foreign Minister Yoon Bin Xie, the current state and prospects of development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed. The ministers expressed readiness to intensify the efforts aimed at implementing the agreements reached between the two countries during the visit of Kyrgyz President to South Korea in 2013.

During the meeting with San Marino's Foreign Minister, Erlan Abdyldaev and Pasquale Valentini exchanged the views on topical issues of the international agenda. The parties also signed an interdepartmental Memorandum of Understanding within the meeting.
