Kyrgyz government approved the roadmap for the country's accession into the Common Economic Space (CES), Kabar news agency reported on Oct. 8, citing the government's statement.

The roadmap for Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Common Economic Space was the subject of discussions during the latest government's meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Joomart Otorbaev.

Otorbaev said that the approval of the roadmap is another step towards Kyrgyzstan's entering the Eurasian Economic Union.

"We consistently fulfill our obligations under the integration process, and hopefully we will be able to sign an agreement on Kyrgyzstan's joining the union by the end of the year," he said.

Otorbaev also said that currently Kyrgyzstan has almost completed the work on the implementation of the roadmap for the country's accession into the Customs Union.
