President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev will discuss the bilateral cooperation issues with some of his European counterparts and EU institutions, the message from Kyrgyz presidency said.

The discussions will be held during Atambayev's visit to Austria, France, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany.

"The purpose of Almazbek Atambayev's visits is to intensify the political dialogue and give a new impetus to the development of Kyrgyzstan's relations with Austria, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, as well as EU institutions," said the message.

During the visits of the president to EU countries, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral agreements aimed at the development of cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

It should be noted that Atambayev arrived in Austria on an official visit on Mar.22.

During the official visit, Kyrgyz president will meet federal president of Austria and speaker of the upper house of Austrian parliament.

He will also attend the Kyrgyzstan-Austria business forum.

Moreover, Atambayev will hold negotiations with the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime Yury Fedotov, as well as OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier.

The head of state will visit France on Mar.25 and meet with the country's President Francois Hollande. He will also take part in the Kyrgyzstan-France business forum.

Almazbek Atambayev will pay an official visit to Switzerland on Mar.26 and hold bilateral talks with President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga, as well as Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter.

The head of state will visit Belgium on Mar.26-30 and meet with King Philippe of Belgium, as well as the heads of the institutions of the European Union (Brussels), in particular with President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

Atambayev will be on a visit to Germany on Mar.31-April 1 and meet with Federal President Joachim Gauck and Chancellor Angela Merkel.
